		<description>as a physician, i would just like to add that oatmeal baths do not help and can make things worse. water baths are a great way to rehydrate the skin, but anything added to the water (like oils or oatmeal) coats the skin and prevents water from getting in to the skin. soap is not needed for baby skin, and if hair needs to be washed, this should be done at the end of the bath and skin should be rinsed. and the most important part is to slather on petroleum jelly within two minutes after pat drying the skin -- this is to help keep moisture in the skin.</description>
