Natural Acne Treatment - Cure Acne with Vitamin A
Vitamin A is part of a group of a group of compound called retinoid. It is found in animal product like liver, diary product, eggs, and fish liver oil.
It is also found I dark red, green, and yellow vegetables. Vitamin A is best absorbed in the presence of some dietary fat and with sufficient zinc, vitamin E, and protein in the body.
Vitamin A helps cells reproduce normally, in a process known as differentiation. Cells that have not properly differentiated are more likely to undergo precancerous changes. Vitamin A is important for the health and integrity of the cell plasma membrane. As a fat soluble antioxidant, it can get into the cell, provide protection, neutralize free radicals, and prevent oxidative stress.
A half-cup serving of broccoli, spinach, or cantaloupe contain enough vitamin A to meet the RDA for this nutrient. For antioxidant benefits, I recommend between 5,000 and 10,000 IU of vitamin each day. Bear in mind that the liver store vitamin A and build up can be toxic.
To avoid problems, do not exceed dosage recommendations for this and other fat-soluble vitamin. It is also important to note that many foods that are high in vitamin A can cause an inflammatory response as a result of their high sugar content. These include sweet potatoes, carrots and yam, which I recommend that you avoid.
